Being a sculptor his talents were steered toward carving as a niche. He is currently the main carver at Wiger’s bonsai nursery in N. FT. Myers, Fl and has studied extensively with Erik Wigert.
He is also a student of the great Florida artist Mike Rogers and considers him a mentor.
Adam also works extensively with shohin trees with Elms and Ilex Schillings his favorite subjects for shohin (at the moment, if it is summer it will be tropical trees).
Living in Central Florida he has the opportunity to work with both tropical and temperate trees.
