More about this Artist:

2 Experiences with Erik Wigert – USA

  • Erik is an extremely helpful and giving online seller. In my last purchase from Wigerts, I included an extra 40$ and told him to include whatever he thought looked promising, and he not only personally picked great material for my other purchases, he sent a great yamadori of native Florida material for the 40$!
Between my purchase and familiarity with his personal bonsai, I reccomend this young man for any tropical bonsai related occasion or purchase you may have! If my small club could, we’d have him this summer!

  • I absolutely love Erik’s work and his vision. Just talking to the man for 10 minutes you can tell he lives and breathes bonsai. I’ve purchased 2 raintrees and 1 ficus nerifolia and have been extremely happy with the quality and prices. I also left 1 of my raintrees there for him to work on and babysit for a year and in 1 year he has taken this tree from a potensai to a bonsai with a very definitive flat-top and with an extremely promising future. He clearly knows what he’s doing and I can’t wait to see what this artist does in the future as I believe he has nowhere to go but up from here. Dealing with him and his other half Andrea, is always a pleasure. I highly recommend taking classes with this guy, visiting his nursery and buying some of his high quality stock. Speaking of stock, he has everything from zero to hero, for the beginner and the advanced, and for the broke or rich. If you need inspiration, go there and bring sunscreen so you can spend some time there and take it all in without getting sunburned too badly. I’m proud to own an Erik Wigert bonsai.
